Lillian + Steven’s 5yr Anniversary Portraits | Lakeside Beach Grill, Lake Tahoe

I had the pleasure of reuniting with Lilly + Steven after shooting thier wedding 5 years ago.  We got together at the same location they got hitched,  to capture some beautiful sunset Anniversary Portraits.  It was a blast to sit and catch up with them while having the yummiest n fresh Hot Cocoa you’ve ever had (+peppermint schnapps helped keep us warm-hee hee) at Lakeside Beach Grill.  From being goofy and laughing at my silly comments while trying to recreate poses from their wedding to being goofy and Steven taking on my dare to juggle the pinecones,  these down to earth,  dog lovers are simply an awesome couple!  These two Texans are not only sweet but are why I love my job, as it means so much to me when past clients keep in touch and allow Hall Creations again and again to capture their family milestones!

Big hugs to you both! xoxo

Here’s to another amazing year- Hall Creations Photography

We just wanted to post about 2011 and  to say “Thank You” from the bottom of our hearts to all our wonderful & awesome clients.  We can’t thank you all enough for an amazing year!  With just over 60 weddings in 2011- (wow-this is not calculating portrait,  family sessions and events)-  Some of these weddings were elopements, some intimate with their best and closest friends, some were mid-sized and some were very large, extravagant weddings.  Either way, small or large, we are SO honored and blown away every time, by each couple that chooses ‘US’ to be part of ‘their’ special day!

Thank you again for all your support to Hall Creations Photography and we look forward to another great year in 2012!

We have already been busy this year meeting with new and potential clients, shooting engagement & portrait sessions, and of course booking weddings & events for 2012.  It’s gonna be another amazing year and we are looking forward to getting together with our new and past clients with whom we have established valuable friendships, meeting and working with new clients, and most of all, preserving and creating fresh and fun images for you all!

Below are photos of just a few of our stunning couples from 2011- Enjoy.

Michelle + Ben | Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort | Incline Village Wedding

Wow-It’s been far too long since my last blog posting!

Though, that certainly doesn’t mean we’ve had a lack of events and projects we’ve been working on, there’s actually lots to share!

So excuse me if I get all blog post happy for a minute.

Michelle + Ben were married at the luxurious Hyatt Regency in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. We love shooting at this location!  You can’t go wrong with having your ceremony on the, ‘oh so green’ grass that meets the sands of Lake Tahoe and then dance the night away  in the grand Lakeside Ballroom.  It was such a pleasure working with these too.  They are always laughing, having fun and so MFEO!

With the help of DJ, Larry Williams, she surprised her Father at the beginning of the aisle with a special audio message dedicated to him.

Ceremony of Love included their two children into the ceremony which was a very special touch and truly meaningful to the family!

Congratulations Michelle + Ben! xoxo

Jessica + Chris | Adventurous Kirkwood Wedding

Jessica + Chris are the 1st adventurous couple of the summer!  Their wedding took place at Kirkwood Mountain Resort.  First, we helped create a little “1st glance” moment prior to their ceremony so we could get some of the formals with the bridal party done and have time for some thrilling adventures.  She originally had the idea of zip-lining in her wedding dress but then later decided the logistics would would be pretty interesting in her gown!  So going up the chairlift would have to suffice.  We followed them up chairlift and WOW, it was a much different perpective from when there is a lot of snow!  (Fun fact- Kirkwood had an unprecedented 65 feet of snowfall throughout the 2010-2011 winter season!)  I have to admit I was a little scared when all of sudden we were hundreds of feet off the ground with our camera bags in tow, plus taking photos with our big ol’ cameras on a chairlift that didn’t have a “safety bar”!  It was fun & excited nonetheless, and we got some great shots, so it was all worth it!  If  time would have allowed, the bride would have been up for a hike back down the mountain just before her ceremony!  The evening ended with a spark, lots of sparks, literally!  All of the guests were lined up with sparklers so the bride & groom could run underneath the beautiful lit up arch they craeated!  Though I ran through it in front of the bride & groom to capture the moment- I was hoping not to have a “Michael Jackson Moment” as guests were warning me to be careful not to catch my hair on fire!  lol  In afterthought, I should have made Greg run though it!  Too much fun!

Gotta love the tennies! heehee

Before, during and after the ceremony: Beautiful and angelic harp music by Anne Roos😉

Congratulations to Jessica + Chris!  We had a blast capturing your adventurous wedding! xoxo
